Flugplatz Oberkirch EDZF

(Fictional:) In 1927, a descendant of the local noble family and WWI fighter ace, bought a Sopwith Camel and built his own airfield. In WWII, it was used as a training airfield, later it was deemed unnecessary and therefore abandoned by the French occupying forces. In 1954 the land was given to local farmers and the runway was scrapped. In 1997, a passionate glider pilot and descendant of its founder, rebought the land, which was nationalized in 1933. Nowadays it is a small rural airfield with large GA-Capacities.
