Project Airports hit 5,000 pilots in our first month. That's absolutely F@!#$% nuts! So many people making incredible airports and liveries. I think it deserves more than a thank-you post, so we're doing the biggest thing this project has ever done: one active pilot is taking home a 500,000-Aero in-game award through a free community drawing, every full Supporter gets a guaranteed 15,000-Aero bonus, everyone gets 2x flight and idle earning rates and daily earning limits (3x for Supporters), and airport visits pay 1.5x all weekend while eight airports take turns in the sun with a 1,000-Aero spotlight bonus.

Every eligible pilot who is active during the event receives one free entry automatically. Visit each live spotlight airport during its 12-hour slot for one additional entry, up to eight more and nine total. The easiest free entry is simply signing in and opening the Claim Map. No purchase necessary. A contribution will not improve your drawing odds.
Want to help us keep up with all these new folks? We increased server capacity and added build machines to support the Queue, and it wasn't cheap. Every dollar helps us grow so much more. As an extra thank you for making this project possible, every previous or new full ($25+) Supporter qualified by the Monday cutoff receives 15,000 bonus Aeros, completely separate from the drawing.

From midnight MDT on Friday, August 7, 2026 through 11:59 PM MDT on Monday, August 10, the Claim Map spotlights a different under-the-radar community airport every 12 hours. The event bar on the map shows the current airport and a countdown to the next switch; the next pick stays secret until it flips.
Your first verified visit to the current spotlight airport pays a flat 1,000 Aeros, replacing that arrival's normal explore payout. Catch all eight over the weekend and that is 8,000 Aeros in spotlight bonuses alone.
The whole network earns more
- Exploring any other airport pays 1.5x the normal reward.
- Airport owners collect 1.5x on every visit to their field, spotlight arrivals included.
- Flight and idle earning rates double for everyone, up to 8 Aeros per minute at Command Center, and the free daily earning limit doubles to 2,000 Aeros a day instead of 1,000.
- Full Supporter flight and idle earning rates and daily earning limits triple, up to 12 Aeros per minute at Command Center and 7,500 Aeros a day instead of 2,500.
No event opt-in and no toggles. The boosts switch on automatically. Signed-in activity creates the free base drawing entry, verified spotlight visits add their entries, and every qualifying full Supporter receives the separate guaranteed 15,000-Aero bonus after Monday night.
