  • The whole game is free

    Claiming an airport, building it, publishing it to MSFS and flying it cost nothing. Every runway, taxiway, building tool and upgrade is earned with Aeros.

  • Aeros are earned, never sold

    Aeros come from flying, exploring and running your airport. They unlock everything from community creators, the MSFS asset library and every other free resource. We will never charge money for those.

  • Wings are an optional extra

    Wings buy things we design and build ourselves, like premium terminal styles. Every purchase supports the project and pays for more custom buildings and more terminal styles.

Good to know

Do I need Wings to play?
No. Everything you need to build, publish and fly your airport is free and earned with Aeros. The Glass and Regional terminal styles are free for everyone, with every terminal feature included. Wings are an optional way to support the project and get premium looks.
What can I get with Wings?
Right now: premium terminal style packs. Each pack is bought once and unlocks that style on every terminal at every airport you own. More in-house designs are on the way, and your Wings stay in your balance until you want them.
Can I try a style before buying it?
Yes. Open a terminal in the airport builder's 3D designer and preview any style on your own building. You only need the pack to save it.
Will the free styles stay free?
Yes. Glass and Regional are free for everyone, with every terminal feature included, and they stay that way.
What happens when new styles launch?
They show up here and in the terminal designer, ready to preview. Your Wings balance carries over, so anything left from an earlier pack goes toward them.
Does this work in MSFS 2020 or on Xbox?
No. Project Airports scenery, including every terminal style, runs in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Windows PC. MSFS 2020 and Xbox are not supported.
Where does the money go?
Straight back into Project Airports: the build servers that turn your designs into MSFS scenery, and the time it takes to design more custom buildings and terminal styles.
Can I turn Wings into Aeros?
No, and Aeros cannot be bought. Keeping them apart is what keeps the free game fair.
Which currency and taxes?
Prices are in US dollars. Card payments go through Stripe, which adds sales tax or VAT at checkout where it applies to you. PayPal payments are charged at the listed price.
I paid but my Wings have not arrived.
They usually land within a few seconds. If it has been longer, don't pay again: email info@projectairports.com with the receipt and we'll add them by hand.
What if something goes wrong with a payment?
Email info@projectairports.com and a real person will sort it out. Because Wings arrive the moment you pay, purchases are final; the terms have the details.
