Csepel Airfield LHCS2

The northern shore at Csepel was pretty much ignored before any of this. It was just weeds and old factories along the Danube. Pilots got the idea for using the flat parts as an urban spot right by the water. In 2026 some enthusiasts started clearing brush on weekends and they hauled dirt in to make a strip. They cut a ramp down too. It seems this was to make Budapest have a real place for both land planes doing short fields and floatplanes coming off the river. LHCS became that multi use spot. What started small turned into the go to for aviators who liked the grit and open views. I am not totally sure how it all came together so quick but it feels like the industrial look is what drew them in over normal runways.
