WELCOME TO ALTIPORTO ALEVIA VALLELAGHI! This is the second airfield of Alevia, created as the alpine counterpart to the original Campo d’Aviazione Alevia AVXB in Milan. Located high above the Valle dei Laghi in Trentino, surrounded by the spectacular landscape of the Italian Alps, the airfield was conceived around a simple idea: flying here should be part of the destination. While Alevia’s first airfield represents urban general aviation, business flying and easy access to Milan, Vallelaghi follows a completely different philosophy. It is a compact, exclusive mountain airfield where the terrain, altitude and changing alpine weather are an integral part of every arrival and departure. The 800-metre grass runway follows the natural shape and slope of the mountain, surrounded by open alpine meadows and dramatic terrain. Its unique profile defines the airfield’s operations: landings are performed uphill on Runway 09, while departures are made downhill on Runway 27. Infrastructure is deliberately minimal: a small apron, hangars and essential facilities preserve the isolated character of the location and its connection with the landscape. Approaching Vallelaghi offers unique views across the surrounding mountains and valleys. The combination of elevation, natural runway gradient, terrain and limited runway length requires careful aircraft management and makes every operation more demanding than at Alevia’s Milan base. Altiporto Alevia Vallelaghi AVXL is not designed to be the easiest place to reach. It is designed to make the journey worth it.
