Thank you SoarUK! My goal was 2 fold: 1. to preserve this location to keep it as natural as possible and 2. for my granddaughters. But wanted to add a little fun to the aviation by putting in a runway on the water as well. I did not know about the gliding community here as I have never done that in real life. Need to know more about that "gliding world"... What is your airport code by the way? and discord?

Hi, your goal No 1 was the same goal I had on EDK9 (EDKL in real world), very sympathic. And I know the region fussen for real so I love to come here.

Lima 3K7M, Thank you for the comment. I have not had a ton of Sim time the past few weeks, but I will visit EDK9 more often! I wanted to keep that area respectful yet usable for gliding and sea planes. It's a very beautiful area! I chose that location for my granddaughter. And, thank you for the 200th! i did see what you were talking about btw with the overlay on EDKL. Was totally unaware that was possible. If you dont have the time for a longer flight, you even could visit my second airport EDH1 in Herrsching at the Ammersee. You can come there with a normal prop airplane or helicopter or with a water-airplane lake to lake. It is 36 NM away from EHRY :)
