The story of Fürst Pückler Airport Cottbus
Fürst Pückler Airport Cottbus is named after Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, a famous German prince, writer and landscape designer who created the beautiful Branitz Park in Cottbus. The airport was founded in the 1990s on a former airfield and has grown into an important regional airport. Pilots should fly here because the airport is quiet, easy to access and offers a great gateway to Cottbus and the Brandenburg region. Visitors can explore the city, Branitz Park and the surrounding countryside after landing. Today, Fürst Pückler Airport combines modern aviation with the history and character of Cottbus.
