Aéroport Belfort - Fontaine LFSQ

Initially a military airfield that was build during WWI it grew until later becoming a NATO airbase during cold war. In 1966, all military activities stopped and it was closed temporarely. In 1971 it reopened for civil aviation only with small regional airlines activities. Sadly due to the competion of Basel euroairport (LFSB) it closed in 1986. DHL later tried to reopened it as a regional cargo airport but it failed. Today it is an economic activity zone used by various companies and factories. My goal here is to try to bring alive this airport again in this simulator in order to see what it could have become if it was still used. The Beechcraft 99 near the hangar is a tribute to the defunct airlines TAT which used this aircraft on this airfield for its flights to Paris Orly airport. TAT later replaced the model 99 by the Fairchild FH-227B on this line. Before being acquired by TAT, Air Alsace was operating flights on this airfield toward LFPO by using the Nord Aviation N262 and the rare VFW 614. /!\ Still in work in progress /!\
