Unlike the huge airports filled with tourists, this small airfield had only a grass runway, two rusty hangars, and a few weak lights shining through the night. Located beside the Miami-like coastline of Vice City, the airport was the perfect place for secret deals. Smugglers, criminals, and people looking to disappear used it because nobody asked questions. One night, Tommy Vercetti and Lance Vance arrived for a special delivery. The warm ocean wind blew across the runway as they waited beside an old hangar. A small plane suddenly appeared above the palm trees and landed roughly on the grass. The pilot stepped out carrying a briefcase. Then headlights appeared in the distance. “Something’s wrong,” Tommy said. Several cars rushed toward the airport, and gunfire exploded across the runway. The quiet airfield became a battlefield as bullets hit the hangars and engines roared. Lance grabbed the briefcase while Tommy fought back. “We’re leaving!” Tommy shouted. They jumped into the small aircraft and started the engine. The plane raced across the uneven grass runway as enemies chased behind them. At the last second, the plane lifted into the sky, barely clearing the palm trees. Below, Vice City Airport returned to darkness, hiding another crime in the city’s endless story.
