The story of Birch Coppice
Birch Coppice was a coal mine in Dordon, Tamworth. UK. After closure the sprawling site was turned into an industrial estate.
There are already road and rail links. I thought I'd add an airlink.
A 10 min cab ride from Tamworth Snowdome the sim usually puts you on final approach to R20 directly over EGBB Birmingham International, passing Kingsbury Water Park on the left.
R02 approach takes you over the villages of Polesworth and Dordon and virtually over my home.
I worked at Birch Coppice in the late 70s - early 80s as a coalface electrician.
