The story of Loma Vista
Perched atop the scenic Central California coastline 7NM northwest of Big Sur VOR (Navaid: BSR, 114.00), Loma Vista provides exhilarating views as well as exciting departures and approaches. This grass airfield is suitable for GA, helicopter and short-field capable bizjets. Don't be fooled by the rendering in the browser view - the runway, taxiway and parking ramp are all completely level and perfectly safe to land on despite the stories in the newspapers.
On Monday nights we feature our famous 2 for 1 $3 Tacos with extended Happy Hour from 4-8 PM, with FREE hot dogs for the kids, so come on down! Or up!
