This airfield was constructed around the mid 1960's with the police station having a common boundary on the south western end of the runway. Radio comms. for the field were controlled by the police station. It was built to provide secure a base of operations for civic, rescue and security functions. In the main the Air Force utility and helicopter elements as well as PRAW (Police Reserve Air Wing) used this field. PRAW was a collection of private pilots who offered their aircraft and piloting skills for use to aid Criminal investigation, search & rescue, resupply, communications and reconnaissance. Maintenance of the field, aircraft fueling supplies inventory, security and night lighting fell under the control of the police station. This field no longer exists and this depiction is a fiction of what it may have looked like were it still in existence. Markings depicted are to aid those using this field in MSFS. In real life there were no markings, designated parking or refueling spots. Fuel and temporary night lighting were rolled out of the police station onto the field on demand.
