Blåhäll Airport ESBH

Blåhäll Airport (ESBH) is a small public airfield located on the west coast of Gotland, about 12 km southwest of Visby. Opened in 1998, it was developed as Gotland's dedicated general aviation airport, transferring most non-commercial aviation from Visby Airport to free capacity for airline operations. Named after the nearby locality of Blåhäll, the airport features a single 800-metre gravel runway (12/30), a small air traffic control tower, and an outdoor apron with 22 general aviation parking positions. The airport primarily serves flying clubs, flight training, private aircraft, helicopters, and light STOL operations, while also forming the first stage of Project Blåhäll 2040, a long-term plan to develop the site into Gotland's future primary commercial airport.
