The story of Chatty Planes Regional Airport
Chatty Planes Regional Airport (KCPL) is a fictional general aviation airport in southeastern Wisconsin, created as the home airport of the Chatty Planes universe. The field begins as a small regional airport serving light general aviation aircraft, with plans for future expansion as traffic and facilities grow.
KCPL features a gravel runway, GA parking and apron facilities, and its own navigation facilities. Pilots should expect a small-airport environment where back-taxi operations may be necessary depending on runway and parking use.
Future development is planned to include expanded taxiways, additional parking, improved facilities, and eventually infrastructure capable of supporting larger aircraft.
And yes, pilots may occasionally hear rumors about someone requesting coffee.
