It’s location near navigable water shaped the airport’s design from the start, allowing it to serve both conventional aircraft and floatplane traffic. As air travel and regional commerce expanded, Viper International grew to include dedicated facilities for commercial and private aviation. Water access provided a base for floatplanes serving Great Lake communities and seasonal destinations. A detached general aviation airport was developed to accommodate private, charter, and business aircraft, giving those operations room to function apart from the main passenger and cargo areas. A STOVL runway supports aircraft designed for short takeoff and vertical landing, while a separate tarmac runway serves conventional general aviation traffic. Together, these facilities make Viper International a distinctive civilian airport, combining regional air service, water-based aviation, and specialized operations within one connected airport. Future Plan’s 1.Build the main airport. [Need Tier 4 & 5] 2. Cargo Terminals. [Need Tier 4 & 5] 3. Regional Terminals. [Need Tier 4 & 5] 4. international Terminals. [Need Tier 4 & 5] 5.
