The story of West Texas Airport
This is a somewhat faithful recreation of the old West Texas airport (rl: T27) where the El Paso Soaring Club was based and I learned to fly gliders. The owner passed away and his family was uninterested in maintaining the airport so it was sold for real estate development. The glider club moved to KDNA. I will continue to refine the spot over time to what I remember it being like. Most of the records of it have disappeared.
