The story of MacBride's Landing
This airport is located west of Solon,Ia about 8 miles N of the Univ. of Iowa. It has a paved and gravel runway as well as taxi way access to the lake for those with sea airplanes. An atv course is just north about 3 miles. As well as several helipads. And it is a quick 3 min flight to Bartlett Field as well as Eastern Iowa and Iowa city airports.
